Pink Gin is thought to have been created by the Navy in the early 1800s as a way to make more enjoyable their daily dose of Bitters, required to combat sea-sickness. Gin with bitters became the fashionable cocktail of choice in England and America.

Spanking Roger distilled Pink Gin has been inspired by zesty bittersweet flavours of Sanguinello blood orange and Star Ruby Pink Grapefruit from neighbouring Spain and Morocco.

Big pungent blood orange character on the nose combining with grapefruit, juicy citrus, tangerine, pomelo and a lot of winter spice on the palate. Overall zesty and natural, tart and tangy for a bold strong gin.
